NTUC Unity Healthcare is the largest healthcare cooperative in Singapore and operates a chain of pharmacies, dental clinics and TCM centres. DIA was appointed to create a new strategic blueprint and brand identity to unify the different offerings within the group. We built the brand around the core essence ‘Care for life’, communicating how Unity Healthcare empowers people to care for their health and wellness, enabling them to live life to the full.
Unity pharmacies take ownership of a total ‘health & wellness’ space encompassing focus on pharmacy-led health and wellness retail offering alternative and conventional medicines, supported by holistic healthcare services. Unity Denticare stands for ‘Care for your confidence’ with a belief that dental treatments are not only about oral care; they are meant to restore confidence in people. Unity TCM Wellness promise of ‘Care for your inner harmony’ takes on a wellness based approach going beyond traditional medications to offering wellness based treatments that restore mind and body balance.
The brand essence is expressed through the brand identity at all key touchpoints, from the logo right through to its application to retail environments. The organic ‘hand and heart’ logo symbolises the role NTUC plays in providing the care, support and guidance that promotes a healthy lifestyle for the whole community. The expression of wellbeing is promoted through the use of bright colours, a series of health-themed icons and the natural and sunny people-centric photographic style.
Unity is not just a health and wellness brand, it is committed to the well being of the community. It plays the role of a community healthcare provider, driving health awareness across all strata of the society.
